Held on March 14th, 2025, at La Concha Resort in San Juan, over 75 municipal leaders, energy experts, and community stakeholders gathered for the 2025 AEG PR Energy Week Island Action Challenge. This session focused on tackling key barriers to energy resilience and equitable clean energy expansion across Puerto Rico. Participants collaborated on strategies to enhance stakeholder engagement, streamline policy and funding efforts, and accelerate infrastructure projects. The workshop culminated in a 90-day sprint plan aimed at driving tangible solutions for workforce development, grid modernization, and energy accessibility in underserved communities.

Held on March 12th, 2025 at the Oriana 1 Solar Park in Isabela, 60 community, government, utility, and task force leaders convened for 2025 AEG PR Energy Week Municipal Action Challenge. This workshop aimed to collaborate with select leaders to address the challenge of expanding equitable energy assistance and access to clean energy in underserved communities, coordinating next steps for team organization, and determining how to best benefit the community, with a focus on connecting with stakeholder groups, identifying funding opportunities, and planning for a 90-day sprint to bridge resource gaps.

Held on March 11th, 2025 at the UPR Aguadilla Amphitheater in Aguadilla, 50 community, government, utility, and task force leaders convened for the 2025 AEG PR Energy Week Community Action Challenge. The workshop focused on developing collaborative strategies to strengthen municipal energy initiatives, streamline permitting processes, and accelerate infrastructure improvements. Participants worked to align stakeholder efforts, secure funding opportunities, and plan a 90-day sprint to implement tangible solutions that address workforce gaps, grid stability, and public engagement.
